Rice is a persistent myth. Rice dust and starch combine with moisture to form a sticky paste inside your charging port and vents, while doing nothing to stop corrosion on the motherboard. Bring your device to a professional repair facility immediately.
DO NOT plug in your phone or attempt to charge it!
Plugging in a charger sends 5 to 20 volts through water-shorted copper traces. This causes immediate electrical arcing and burns out CPU power rails. Keep it turned OFF and unplugged.
